As a thank you for all their hard work, we give our Involved Customers incentive points for taking part in involvement meetings, answering surveys, and helping us to improve our services. They can then either exchange these for vouchers or chose to donate to a charity at the end of the year.
Our Involved Customers chose Care & Repair Northamptonshire as the charitable organisation for the last year who will receive £485 in donations!
James Thurston is one of our involved customers and was part of the decision to give the donation to Care & Repair.

Care & Repair Northamptonshire is an independent home improvement charity in Northamptonshire who aim to keep vulnerable people and those who care for them safe, warm, and secure at home. They offer services such as supplying draught excluders, carbon monoxide detectors and door chains, as well as other handyperson services.
Gillian Shadbolt, Service Director for Care & Repair Northamptonshire said, ‘We are very grateful to Greatwell Homes’ customers for nominating us as their charity of the year 21/22 and for donating the sum of £485 which will help us provide much-needed support to more vulnerable local people.’
To be eligible for an assessment by Care & Repair you will need to be from Northamptonshire, have a disability or long term illness, be elderly or a carer or be living in hardship. You can find more information here.
