Chief Executive statement regarding civil disturbances

Dear customer,

The scenes of civil unrest we have seen across the weekend have been disturbing and upsetting. At Greatwell Homes we celebrate and support diversity in our communities and workforce.

Wellingborough and the surrounding areas have always shown great community spirit and a sense of togetherness which we can all be proud of, and it is very much our hope that this sense of community wins out against a small minority intent on causing trouble.

If you are a Greatwell Homes customer and experience any form of discrimination, as well as reporting it to the police, please make us aware by contacting our Customer Services team on 01933 234450, by emailing customer.services@greatwellhomes.org.uk or filling out this form, where we can offer you support and guidance.

Anyone living in our homes who is reported to be involved in anti-social behaviour as part of these protests or involved in a separate related case of racism and Islamophobia will have action taken against them and risk losing their home as this is completely unacceptable and a breach of their tenancy agreement.

Please be assured that Greatwell Homes takes any form of discrimination including racism and Islamophobia very seriously and are very committed to achieving our vision of great communities where people live well.

Yours sincerely,

Jo Savage, Chief Executive
